What happens in the free consultation?
Our initial exploratory session is a chance for you to ask any questions you may have and for us both to get to know one another and to see if we are a 'fit' and would like to work together. There is no obligation to continue.
We will discuss what you have on your mind that you would like to change in your life, where you would like to get to and what do you want to achieve. This can range from goals such as improving motivation and routines towards getting healthier, or how to de-stress, focus better, or building confidence levels and moving forward at work. Remember the topic list is not exhaustive and sessions will be tailored to your needs. If we are both happy to move on by the end of the session we will take it from there.
What is coaching?
Coaching is the practice of helping a Client to help themselves move forward. To enable them to achieve what they set out to do or change in their life - big or small. The aim is to help the client become aware of and achieve their potential. Sessions can include practical exercises and insightful tools to aid discussion, reflection, decision making and actions which Clients can take away with them. My aim is for you to understand yourself more, what might be holding you back in certain areas and give you the insights and tools to help you see that you can do what you want to do and take action to make those positive changes in your life.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on you, the topic on your mind and where you are on your journey. I find that Clients tend to get the most out of 4 to 6 sessions. Just how many can be tailored to specific requirements and can flex as we go along if required.
The free exploratory session is around 20 mins whilst the coaching sessions are 1hr. These can be done over the phone or via video conference systems such as Zoom, Skype, Amazon Chime and Facetime.
What do I get for my commitment?
1:1 confidential coaching sessions with a fully qualified practitioner supported with science backed resources, exercises and further reading. You will understand yourself much more and how you can influence your thoughts and behaviours for positive change and improved health and wellbeing. You will feel more confident and in control and have clarity around what you want to achieve in your life and how to do it.
